Excess Inventory Consignment

Your excess is someone's line-down part.
Let us sell it.

Ship your surplus components to our Oceanside warehouse. We inspect them, list them in our catalog as in stock, and put them in front of the OEMs, contract manufacturers and defense programs that send us requirements every day. You keep ownership until each part sells, and you're paid as it does.

Why Consign

What sitting on excess actually costs you

Excess doesn't just sit there. It takes up space, needs managing, and loses value every quarter it waits.

SPACE

Get the floor space back

Consigned stock ships to us. The racks, bins and cage space it was taking go back to the inventory that's running your current builds.

LIABILITY

Stop managing dead stock

No more counting, auditing, insuring and protecting parts nobody on your floor will use. It stops being a line item your team has to keep track of.

CONDITION

Stored the way parts should be

Card-access security, ESD control under a program built to ANSI/ESD S20.20-2021, and dry-pack storage for moisture-sensitive devices, with lot traceability under ISO 9001:2015.

RECOVERY

More back than an outright sale

An outright buyer prices in the risk of holding your stock. On consignment, parts sell at market to the buyer who needs them, so more of the price comes back to you.

DEMAND

Real buyers, every day

Requirements reach us daily from OEMs, contract manufacturers and depots, many from people searching our 950,000+ part catalog for the exact part number you're holding.

RECORDS

Paperwork your accountant can use

Every sale is documented at a real market price, and anything that doesn't sell has a clear disposition trail. That's the support a write-down needs. More on taxes ↓

How It Works

From stock list to payment

01

Send the list

Part numbers and quantities are enough to start. Date codes, manufacturers and packaging help. Any format your system exports.

02

We evaluate it, line by line

We check every line against live demand and our own sales history and quote consignment terms. No charge, no obligation.

03

Ship it to Oceanside

We receive and inspect every lot on arrival, record it under our quality system, and list it in our catalog as in stock.

04

We sell, you get paid

You're paid as parts sell. Ask for a sell-through report on your lots any time.

What We Take

Good stock that's just in the wrong building

Mixed lists are normal. If some lines suit an outright purchase better than consignment, we'll tell you. See all our excess-inventory programs.

Send us your stock list.

Attach an Excel, CSV or PDF list (up to 10 MB). We review every line and come back with consignment terms. No obligation.

Questions

Consignment, answered

Who owns consigned inventory?

You do. Ownership stays with you until a part sells. We hold, inspect, list and sell it on your behalf, and you are paid for what sells.

How do I get paid?

As parts sell. When a sale clears, the proceeds due to you under your agreement are paid out. Ask any time for a sell-through report on your lots.

What does consignment cost?

Nothing to evaluate a list. Consignment terms are quoted line by line once we have seen what you are offering, because a fast-moving connector and a slow passive deserve different terms.

Where is the inventory stored?

In our warehouse in Oceanside, California: card-access secured, ESD-controlled under a program built to ANSI/ESD S20.20-2021, with dry-pack storage for moisture-sensitive devices and lot traceability under our ISO 9001:2015 quality system.

Who buys it?

The OEMs, contract manufacturers, depots and defense and aerospace programs that send us requirements every day, many of them by searching our 950,000+ part catalog for exactly the part you have.

Can consignment help with an inventory write-down?

It can help with the paperwork. Under U.S. tax rules (the Supreme Court's Thor Power Tool decision), excess inventory generally cannot be written down just because it is slow-moving; a write-down normally has to be supported by actual sales, disposal, or a genuine offer for sale at the lower price. Consignment produces documented sales at real market prices and a clear disposition record for anything that does not sell. That is not tax advice: talk to your tax advisor about how to treat your inventory.
