// Excess Inventory

Turn Excess Inventory Into Cash.

Excess electronic inventory loses value on two clocks: market price and date-code age. Every quarter it sits, both clocks tick down. RH Electronics buys excess electronic components, runs consignment marketing programs, and provides full warehouse-and-market services — so you choose the trade-off between speed of cash and maximum recovery.

Three Ways to Recover Value

💰

Outright Purchase

We buy your excess inventory outright — one transaction, immediate payment, inventory off your books and off your shelves. Fastest path to cash, certain outcome.

📈

Consignment Marketing

Your inventory stays with you, we market it to our worldwide buyer network. Higher recovery than outright purchase — for inventory worth waiting on.

🏭

Warehouse & Market

We move your excess into our secure, ESD-controlled facility and market it from here. Consignment economics plus your floor space back.

What We Buy

  • Active and passive components — all commodity types
  • Connectors and interconnects
  • Electromechanical components
  • Military and aerospace specification parts
  • Obsolete and end-of-life inventory — often the most valuable
  • New, unused, in original packaging — required for all programs

Mixed lists are common. Most stock lists split across programs: some lines worth buying outright, some worth consigning. We evaluate line by line and recommend the program that fits each item — not a one-size approach.

What condition must the inventory be in?
Parts must be new, unused, and in original manufacturer or RH Electronics packaging. We do not accept previously used, opened, or re-packaged inventory unless specifically arranged. ESD-sensitive products must have been handled properly.
How do you price excess inventory?
We price against live market demand and our own sales history for each line. Some items are worth more than you expect — obsolete devices in demand for sustainment often carry strong premiums. We come back with a line-by-line evaluation and recommended program.
How long does consignment take to sell?
It varies by part type and market demand. Some lines sell within days; others take months. We report sales and settle regularly throughout the program and will tell you our honest assessment of expected timeline before you commit.
