How an NSN is built
5935-01-167-6118: the first four digits are the Federal Supply Class (5935 = connectors, electrical); the next two are the NCB code (00 and 01 = USA); the last seven are the serial. Digits 5–13 together are the NIIN, which is what most systems index on. Our search accepts any of the three forms, with or without dashes.

Submit it anyway with whatever else you know — manufacturer part number, CAGE code, item name, the drawing. Our catalog is large but the FLIS is larger, and a quick cross-reference from our sourcing team usually finds it. We do not sell NSN data; we sell the parts.
